At AMGKwt we are committed to protecting the privacy of our app users. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data while you use the app.
1. Data We Collect
• Personal information: name, Kuwaiti phone number (used for OTP verification), email (optional).
• Vehicle information: plate number, make, model, year, VIN, mileage, fuel type.
• Photos and videos: media you upload yourself when submitting a service request, with your explicit consent.
• Location: only when you opt for pickup/delivery from a specific address; one-time coordinates.
• Device identifier: your OneSignal Push Token for notifications.
• Usage logs: service requests, invoices, ratings, maintenance schedule.
2. How We Use Your Data
• Create your account and verify your identity via OTP.
• Manage your vehicles and display maintenance schedules.
• Receive service requests, issue invoices and track payments.
• Send notifications about request status and upcoming maintenance.
• Improve app quality and develop new features.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data nor share it for marketing. We only share with:
• Workshop staff to fulfill the service you requested.
• OneSignal for push notification delivery.
• Google Firebase for FCM push transport.
• Kuwaiti government entities when required by law.
4. Data Security
• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS.
• Passwords and tokens are stored hashed.
• Access is restricted to authorized staff only.
5. Your Rights
• Access your data anytime from the "My Profile" screen.
• Edit or update any personal info.
• Delete your account: contact us or use the in-app delete option. Your data is removed immediately except invoices, which we are required to retain for 5 years under Kuwaiti law.
• Securely transfer vehicle ownership between in-app accounts.
6. Android Permissions
• Photos/Videos: only when you upload attachments for a service request.
• Location: only when you request vehicle pickup/delivery.
• Notifications: to inform you about request status and upcoming maintenance.
7. Children
This app is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app, and the last-updated date at the top will be revised.
